The driver free PZ-CV-H264 Input module is detected as a standard webcam device by most operating systems, allowing it to be used by applications such as Skype, Google Hangouts, Twitch TV and more as a HDTV camera, 2 channel stereo audio is available as the microphone audio source when used with 3rd party applications.
Playzone HD PZ-CV-H264 is a compact device that enables composite video to be displayed and captured in H264 via USB 2.0 interface. PZ-CV-H264 can be used to monitor CV signals on a tablet or PC which is ideal for any video engineer's toolkit, simply connect the device to any USB port and open VLC or any other application to display the SD input and audio on channels 1 and 2. Ideal for use with 3rd party applications such as Skype, Google Hangouts and more to feed Composite video as a camera source. The PZ-CV-H264 is powered by the USB slot and does not require any external power, signal LED indicators provide quick visual check of signal input, the device auto detects incoming video format and does not require any additional drivers to be installed.
Plug and Play with USB 2.0
PZ-CV-H264 provides an easy solution for many applications where live CV video input with audio is required. The PZ-CV-H264 clever design enables the device to be seen as a standard USB web camera by many applications such as Skype, Google Hangouts and others, since the PZ-CV-H264 is detected as a standard web cam device there are no additional drivers or software that needs to be installed, allowing an easy method to feed video into applications.
Rugged and Reliable
The PZ-CV-H264 accepts PAL, NTSC video input up to D1 and provides a H264 (mp4), YUV or MJPG output along with 44.1 kHz 2 channel stereo audio mic output.
Raspberry Pi Composite Video Input
PZ-CV-H264 can be used with the Raspberry Pi computer to capture video & audio via the Pi's USB port, the Pi's built in V4L2/UVC driver sees the PZ-CV-H264 as a Dev0 device.
