The XV-SD4+1S has five complete capture channels supporting a single channel for up to 1920 x 1080 HD, 1920 x 1200 DVI, 2048 x 1536 analog resolution, plus four SD composite or S-Video inputs. The SD inputs support captures in PAL, NTSC or SECAM at full resolution and frame rates.
The XV-SD4+1S as a stand alone capture card delivers extreme performance with 650MB/s transfer bus bandwidth. This industry beating performance makes the XV-SD4+1S ideal for a wide range of applications including:

The X-VIEW unified driver allows the card to be used with other applications that use DirectShow Capture filters. The 5 inputs can be either used via crossbar or as direct inputs via driver selection.
The card features auto detection of input signal formats can be used with any mix of input signals. Unlike other capture devices both inputs do not have to be of the same format or frame rates.
The XV-SD4+1S can be used with the X-VIEW DPXe display wall controllers as an input module.
When the Video data is displayed on a non X-VIEW graphics card, the XV-SD4+1S sends the data to system memory or direct to the graphics card, dependant on the software used for display.
For streaming applications the XV-SD4+1S can be used with Windows Media Encoder to compress and stream captured video. To replay the video, use Windows Media Player.
Any application compatible with Windows DirectShow technology can use the XV-SD4+1S due to its built-in WDM support.
